contents page analysis

my contents page however getting all the nessisary information is aestheticly un atractive with the basic information, if i was given a longer period of time i could adapt the layout ect to become better looking and also getting in the needed information.

front cover analysis

I am happy the way that the front cover has turned out because:
first of all i named my magazine in sport because i am a huge sports enthusiast and enjoy sport also as the Sussex downs college has a huge variety of sports of offer there is plenty of information to write about. however i would have liked a name that was more catchy and easier to remember.
also i am happy with the picture that i have chosen because it includes the rugby posts in the background which incorporates the theme of sport and rugby at the college. in the process of getting the picture i discarded the ones that are inappropriate

creating my magazine

I have now scanned my flat plan into the computer.




















Now i have finnished and scanned in my flat plan i will use this as i create the magazine on InDesign on the computer. Using the features from InDesign i will create the magazine putting the picture that i have chosen on the front after cropping it and fitting it into the correct place and size. I will then place text boxes to enter all of the headlines that are required

Step One

I have now completed my flat plan of my magazine and will scan it into the computer as one of my next steps. On the flat plan there is the front cover page where i have named my magazine In Sport, the magazine would be about the sporting activities at the college. As the magazine is about sport and that the college has an extremely good rugby team on my front cover i have included the medium - close up required but also Incorporated in he background rugby posts.
Also on my flat plan i have created my contense page including what would be written in the magazine and have Incorporated the headlines on the front cover.
when i was deciding on the photo to place on the front cover i had to discard the inappropriate ones where the eyes of the person in the picture were closed etc.

Introduction into the preliminary task

This is the introduction blog into our preliminary task. This involves creating a cover for the Lewes Sussex Downs college magazine. We will be producing our work in adobe InDesign using the photographs that we have taken, to create the front cover. The picture on the cover must be a medium close-up of a student at the college. We will take a look at the necessary angles, background ect inorder to get an appropriate picture.
